So we went to the doctor yesterday, my 37 week check up, even though they said 38, (they are going by their initial due date December 5th, which is too early (due to ovulation and such), I am going by what the ultrasound said which is December 10th). Anyways, it is getting closer. I'm not sure we were ready to hear that. Last Thursday when we were there I was not open at all, she was still high up, and 50% thinned. In just 5 days I am now 80% thinned, she has dropped lower, and I am 1 1/2 centimeters dialated. I know that it can stay this way for weeks before labor will start, and truthfully, that is what I would like. I want an early December baby, after Jake is done with school, and after Sandra is back at work. Is this asking for too much?
